I'm sitting at Starbucks in Kuwait getting ready to work on my sermon for Sunday [it's the 1st Sunday of the month again], and I was actually looking at a pretty neat offer on the webpage for Green Beans Cafe... shhhhh don't tell Starbucks!
Most bases on Kuwait offers two coffee stores, Starbucks and Green Beans. As much as I love Starbucks, Green Beans has amazing coffee and an amazing opportunity! It's called "Cup of Joe for a Joe," and for a donation, you can buy a cup of coffee for any deployed service man or woman. I think it's a cool way to make a difference in our lives, it doesn't cost much, and you don't have to worry about a customs form ;-p. Check out their website:
BTW--For those of you who know me pretty well, you know I support any company that supports the military. Green Beans coffee [actually, I drink their iced tea] is amazing, and they have a customer for life!
